On a wonderful sunny winter's day TreeBristol organised a tree planting day on Troopers Hill Field.
Friends of Troopers Hill were there to help along with a team from Sky Blue, but most of the work was done by children from three local schools - Summerhill, Air Balloon and Two Mile Hill. As well as the trees, we also planted more daffodils on the bank sloping down to the woodland.
More details on our Troopers Hill Field Page.

This video shows the Bugs & Beasties Hunt held on the Hill on Sat 8th August 2009.
As well as hunt itself there were lots of craft activities under our gazebos.
More details of this and other Friends of Troopers Hill events both past and future are available on our Events Page.

This video is of the Bird Bonanza held on the hill on Sat 18th February 2006 as part of National Nest Box Week.
The Video is available in two versions,
for broadband/direct connections and also for dialup. |

The next two videos were made during 2005 and shown at our AGM
|
The first details a visit to an eighteenth century Bath House that is hidden in the woodland not far from Troopers Hill.
The Bath House is on private land and we are very grateful to the owners for allowing us to visit this unique part of Bristol's history. |

Three video clips were produced in 2004
The first is the story of the restoration of the bench on the top of the hill, which was first shown at our 2004 AGM.

The second clip was filmed at our work party on 7th August 2004.

Finally there is a video of the 2004 Good Friday Service on the hill. This is only available in the broadband
