Cutting Bramble in Sally's Glade

Sally's Glade is on the west side of the hill next to the woodland.

We cut the brambles and other shrubs to allow the broom and grassland with its wildflowers to thrive.

Without our intervention the hawthorn and other woodland scrub would gradulally take over this wonderful spot.

Meanwhile at the Festival of Nature in Millennium Square we had set up our stand in one of the 'Green Marketplace' marquees.

We decorated the marquee with the sides of the gazebo made as part of last year's project with Air Balloon School.
