Looking towards the south end of Tar Works just after it closed. The tanks that were in the quarry behind the Bull Inn can clearly be seen.

This is the scene of desolation after the north end of the site had been cleared. The houses in Malvern Road can clearly be seen.

In the late 1980s, or perhaps 1990, building work for the new housing was in progress. By 2007 they were complete and the Chapel has also be converted for housing.

This shot is a similar view probably from 1991. The chapel had been damaged by fire.

Looking from near Little Elizabeth's view on Troopers Hill towards the Board Mills; by 1981 work had started on demolition on the site.
